ShipRight Strategy LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops Fat Bear. This policy covers the Android game, its optional advertising and privacy features, and support enquiries. Fat Bear is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and over.
Fat Bear stores scores, progress, unlocked content, achievements, local leaderboard results and preferences on your device. It does not require an account or upload gameplay records to a ShipRight game server.
The app also stores your selected age band and advertising privacy choices. We ask for an age group, not your exact birthdate. The age band is used to decide whether an ad may be requested and to apply age-appropriate advertising settings.
Fat Bear uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). Watching a rewarded ad is optional; you can play without watching ads. A completed rewarded ad can provide one revive during a run.
Current development builds use Google test ads, which still contact Google and are not simulated or data-free. Monetized ad serving has not yet been enabled in these builds.
When advertising and consent services are used, Google and applicable advertising partners may process your IP address and approximate location, app and ad interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Fat Bear’s current Android configuration excludes access to the Android advertising ID. This does not prevent other information, such as IP addresses or app-set identifiers, from being processed.
No separate analytics SDK or additional mediation SDK has been added. Google’s advertising services may still perform advertising measurement and analytics. See Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and partner-data information (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). Where applicable, the consent form lists advertising partners and their information.
No rewarded ads are requested when the selected age group is under 13 or unknown. Players aged 13–17 receive restrictive under-age-of-consent and nonpersonalized advertising treatment. The current ad-content ceiling is Google’s G rating.
Before an ad request, Google’s consent service checks which privacy choices are required. Where applicable, it presents consent or opt-out choices. Use Ad privacy on the title screen to review available choices or change your age band. Refusing or withdrawing consent can affect ad availability; it does not prevent ordinary gameplay. If privacy settings cannot be loaded, the app does not proceed with the ad request.
The game may request fonts from Google Fonts. Those requests disclose network information such as your IP address and device/browser request headers to Google. Opening our website or another external link also lets that service receive connection information; its privacy policy applies.
Fat Bear does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location.
If you email info@shiprightstrategy.com, we receive your email address and the information or attachments you provide. We use these to respond, provide support and resolve problems. Our support email is hosted through Google Workspace. Please do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.
We use local game information to operate and remember your game, age and privacy settings. Support information is used to handle your request. Advertising providers use the data described above to deliver and measure ads and prevent abuse, subject to applicable choices and restrictions.
Information may be processed by Google, applicable advertising partners and support service providers, including outside your country. Their applicable privacy notices describe their processing and transfer safeguards. We may disclose information when required by law. Advertising-related disclosures can constitute sharing for targeted advertising under some privacy laws; use the available privacy controls to exercise applicable choices.
Local game information remains until overwritten or removed. Clearing Fat Bear’s app storage in Android settings removes local progress and preferences. This resets the game. Android may back up and restore app data depending on your device settings; manage backup copies through your backup provider.
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to address your enquiry and meet applicable obligations. Contact us to request deletion of information you provided. Google and other providers retain information under their own policies; deleting the app does not automatically delete information already held by those providers.
Fat Bear is not intended for children under 13. It does not ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. If an under-13 age band is selected, rewarded advertising is unavailable. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us to request review or deletion.
Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Local data relies on your device’s app-storage safeguards, and our support mailbox uses account access controls. No system is completely secure.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us to exercise rights concerning information we hold. We may need to verify your request. We cannot directly access or delete game data stored only on your device. For data controlled by Google or another provider, use that provider’s privacy controls or contact channels.
We will update this page when the game’s data practices change and provide additional notice or request consent where required.
